ONGC Awarded 7 Onshore Blocks as part of India’s 4th OALP Bid Round

India’s Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has awarded 7 blocks as part of the Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) Bid Round IV. A total of 7 blocks located across 3 onshore basins were offered during the round, all of which have been awarded to state-owned company ONGC Ltd. The awarded blocks include 5 blocks in the Vindhya Basin in Madhya Pradesh, 1 block in the Rajasthan Basin, and 1 block in the Bengal-Purnea Basin in West Bengal.
