Eni Successfully Issues €1 Billion of Fixed Rate Bonds

Integrated Italian energy major Eni SpA has completed its €1 billion offering of fixed rate bonds in the international Eurobond market, as part of its existing Euro Medium Term Note Programme. The bonds were successfully placed with institutional investors mainly in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and United Kingdom, and will also be traded on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE). The Rome-based company stated that it plans to use the proceeds of the issuance for general corporate purposes. The bond is due in January 2030 and will pay fixed annual coupon of 0.625%.
